Letting a property for the first time can be a daunting experience, we would therefore like to guide you through the process to make it as efficient and smooth as possible, so that you don’t need to worry about anything. It is our responsibility to find the most suitable tenants for your property and build a relationship with them to ensure that it is positive for all parties and the tenants respect your property.

Legal Requirement

We are members of ARLA (Associaton of Residential Letting Agents) and for peace of mind for landlords we have the CMP (client money protection) membership which is a scheme that reimburses landlords and tenants should an agent misappropriate their rent, deposit or other client funds. We have professional indemnity and public liability insurance and are members of the Property Redress scheme for client/landlord peace of mind.

Being a landlord isn’t as simple as buying a property and finding a tenant, there are a few legal requirements that Landlords need to fulfil too, such as Right to Rent checks, gas, electric, CO2 and smoke alarms – we can help with all of these things and ensure that the property is fully compliant for the duration of the tenancy.

This option is where VC Estates markets your property, find the tenant, do all necessary tenant checks and referencing, take the deposit to be held with the TDS, we check-in the tenant and then hand over the management to you. Perfect if you want to have direct control over the management of your property.

Fully Managed

VC Estates charge a monthly fee to fully manage your property so that you are completely hands off, from collecting the rent to organisng a leaky tap, we have fully automated systems to allow the tenant to access the portal and report any problems to be attended to quickly by us.
